Rules of Descipline
1. Students should maintain a high standard of good manners and general behaviour.
2. They should be polite and well-behaved within the school compound and outside, and nurture respect
for elders and teachers, honesty and truthfulness, at all times and places. They should always remember
that the image of the school is judged by their conduct.
3. Students are exhorted to be orderly, clean in person and mind, neatly dressed, well behaved at all
times and co-operate in maintaining the cleanliness of the school, classroom and campus.
4. Absolute silence must be observed during the general assembly, while moving into the classroom and in
the classroom, even in the absence of teachers.
5. During the recess students will not behave riotously or viciously.
6. In the absence of the teacher, it is the responsibility of the monitor to maintain order and
discipline in the class. It is a duty which he must fulfil loyally and impartially.
7. Students given any responsibility should undertake it dutifully and impartially in accordance with
the directions of the Principal or teacher deputed by him.
8. Students should not walk about on the verandah and around the classroom during the class hours.
9. Students should not write, carve or scratch on the school walls or deface the school furniture.
10. Respect for one's property and the property of the school as well as those belonging to others is
the mark of well-bred and responsible student. Damage of any kind to school property will be charged
from the student.
11. Students should always speak in English in the school premises and maintain a high standard in their
conversations.
12. All students must be in possession of a copy of this school hand- book and School ID, which must be
brought to school daily.
13. Each student is responsible for his/her things and the school will not be for the loss of books,
money, clothes, etc. of a student. It is advisable not to bring any valuables to school.
14. Books, comics, newspapers, pictures, periodicals, transistors Mobile Phones or instruments not
pertaining to their daily work and not approved by the Principal, must not be brought to school.
15. Articles found in the school premises are to be handed over in the office.
16. Students must not throw about paper or food stuffs any where in the school premises, except in the
bins provided for the purpose.
17. Students are not allowed to visit the staffroom, unless required to do so by any teacher.
18. Students will not leave the school campus on any account during the school hours.
19. Late comers and absentees will not be admitted to class without the express sanction of the
Principal.
20. No collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made without the express sanction of the Principal.
21. A collective petition or complaint will not be entertained but individual complaint will be extended
sympathetic consideration.
22. No student may take private tuition in any subject from any of the school staff. If found, they may
be dismissed from the school.
23. Students are strictly forbidden to use bike for their conveyance.
